Collective Worship

At Acton CE Primary School we come together to worship as a whole school daily at 2:40pm.

Our collective worship has a distinctive focus each day.

On Mondays we have our celebration focus. We take this time to be thankful for the many talents God has given us and we celebrate our achievements as a school.

On Tuesdays we come together to praise the Lord in singing; we also focus on personal, social and health issues as a school community and reflect on how, with God's help, we can reach our full potential as a Christian community.

On Wednesdays we have collective worship led by a member of the church community. This has a distinctive Christian focus.

On Thursdays a member of school staff leads the collective worship to further develop upon the themes that Wednesday has raised. Our Collective Worship Council have now started to lead collective worship on some Thursdays.

On Friday we have our Global News collective worship this focuses on topical issues of the week. We reflect upon and discus these issues.

We also come together for collective worship at the St Mary's Chruch at least once a half term. Parents are welcome to attend these events. Please see the school calendar for full details.
