My name is Miss Stevinson and I teach the wonderful Year 6 class. We also have the wonderful Miss Smith supporting in class. The class are also very fortunate to have specialist Art sessions with Mrs Smart and PE sessions with Mr Gibbons.

Rule Britannia – Ancient Egyptians and the Stone Age

As part of our Real Life Curriculum we believe it is important that children have good historical knowledge and skills. We will examining who the ancient Egyptians were, why they were important in history and what influence they have had on us today. We will be comparing this ancient civilization with the Stone Age.

Maths:We highly recommend using this home learning resource from White Rose to help teach your child maths at home to suit their specific year group. There are five daily lessons for each week and they provide audio teaching and related worksheets free to download for your child to complete. They suggest to spend between 20-30 minutes on each daily session.
